Time flies and we know that some language assistants are slowly getting in touch with their future host schools. However, this is not always the case and it may happen that in October somebody comes to one of our bilingual schools out of the blue. This is hard time for both, the language assistant and the school, as they will have to work out a lot of things in the very first days.
We propose something to pave the way and avoid that lack of mutual information until the very first day when you come to your assigned school. Here is a form for future language assistants to report some very basic data about yourselves. This document can be downloaded from Slideshare, filled in using any wordprocessor and finally sent to your school.
Take your time and try to be honest, we are not looking for right but helpful answers.
